Arjun Tendulkar shines in T20 Mumbai League auction
Arjun Tendulkar emerged as a standout buy in a fiercely competitive auction on May 3, 2026, reflecting the growing intensity of the T20 Mumbai League. The auction took place in Mumbai and was conducted by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).

The T20 Mumbai League is now in its fourth season. It aims to strengthen the women’s cricketing ecosystem in Mumbai, highlighted by Ira Jadhav’s top purchase of Rs 10 lakh in the inaugural T20 Mumbai Women’s League auction.
Prior to the auction, Arjun Tendulkar and Siddhant Addhatrao were cleared to participate. Tendulkar has been representing Goa in domestic cricket, showcasing his skills on a larger platform.
The auction underscored the strength of Mumbai’s cricketing pipeline. Ajinkya Naik, president of the MCA, noted its significance for local talent development.
BCCI guidelines allow players to participate in only one officially recognized league during a twelve-month period. This rule aims to maintain focus and prevent excessive exertion among players.
Rajdip Gupta remarked that this auction highlighted Mumbai’s robust cricket infrastructure and talent pool.
