Jaipur is experiencing extreme heat conditions with temperatures around 40°C, while thunderstorms and light rain are forecasted for the coming days. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Rajasthan, warning residents of potential storms.

Currently, Barmer recorded the highest temperature in the state at 44.6°C. Other areas also experienced elevated temperatures. Ajmer reached 41.1°C, Kota hit 42.1°C, and Jodhpur’s maximum temperature was noted at 42.6°C, which is significantly above normal.

A dust storm accompanied by brief rain occurred in Jaipur between Thursday night and early Friday morning. Despite this weather activity, daytime heat remains intense across many regions.
