Cuet ug 2026 nta
The CUET 2026 exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from May 11 to May 31, 2026. This exam will accommodate millions of candidates across multiple days with specific shift timings and reporting instructions.
Previously, expectations centered around a standard testing format. However, the NTA has introduced a new structure for this year’s exam.
Key details:
- CUET 2026 will have two primary slots: Slot 1 from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM and Slot 2 from 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM.
- Candidates must arrive at the exam center two hours before the start time.
- The doors will close 30 minutes before the exam starts.
- Candidates with disabilities (PwD) will receive an additional 20 minutes for every hour of the exam.
- Candidates must bring a printed CUET UG 2026 admit card and a valid ID.
This structure aims to streamline the process and ensure fairness. Candidates are advised to check their exam center a day before the test.
Yet, there are strict rules regarding what candidates can bring into the exam hall. Prohibited items include mobile phones, smart watches, and calculators.
The NTA has also emphasized that all candidates should familiarize themselves with their admit card details. The exam city slip, admit card, and exam schedule will contain the CUET 2026 shift timings.
