The iPhone 18 Pro series is set to launch in September 2026 in India. This series includes the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, both of which promise substantial upgrades in camera technology and battery performance.

The iPhone 18 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch OLED display, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max will have a larger 6.9-inch OLED display. The expected starting price for the iPhone 18 Pro is between Rs. 1,34,900 and Rs. 1,44,900, whereas the iPhone 18 Pro Max is anticipated to start at around Rs. 1,54,900 for the base variant with 256GB storage.

One of the standout features of these models is the introduction of a variable aperture system on the camera. The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to have a main camera with a resolution of 48MP. Additionally, Apple may implement a mechanical iris system on at least one rear camera.

Battery life improvements are also a focus for this release. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is rumored to have a battery capacity ranging from 5,100 to 5,200 mAh. Battery life could be another major talking point, especially for the Pro Max model.

Both models will utilize the new Apple A20 Pro chip built on TSMC’s advanced 2nm process technology. This chip is expected to deliver an impressive performance improvement of around 15%. The iPhone 18 Pro will also come with 12GB of RAM.

Weight considerations are noteworthy as well; the iPhone 18 Pro Max may weigh over 240 grams due to its larger battery size.

The launch event will likely coincide with the introduction of the rumored iPhone Fold, adding further excitement to Apple’s lineup.

Officials have not confirmed exact pricing details for the iPhone 18 Pro yet. Furthermore, uncertainties remain regarding the final design of the display and whether it will include the Dynamic Island feature.
