The brutal rape and murder of a four-year-old girl in Nasrapur has ignited significant public outrage. The incident occurred on May 2, 2026, in Pune district, Maharashtra, and has led to widespread protests demanding justice.
The girl was reported missing around 5:30 pm after she was last seen playing outside her house. CCTV footage later revealed the accused, a 65-year-old man named Bhimrao Kamble, luring her towards a cattle shed at approximately 3:30 pm.
Her body was discovered about 700 metres from her home. Local authorities took the body to Sassoon General Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The girl’s internal organs were also collected for forensic analysis.
