Noida International Airport will begin commercial flight operations on 15 June 2026. It aims to be a significant gateway for passengers and cargo in North India.

IndiGo will operate the first flight from the airport. This facility is one of the largest greenfield airport projects in India. The first phase has seen an investment of around 11,200 crore rupees.

The airport will have an initial passenger handling capacity of 12 million passengers per annum. Upon full development, this capacity can scale up to 70 million passengers per annum.

Noida International Airport will connect the greater Delhi area and Western Uttar Pradesh with other cities across India and globally. The project operates under a Public-Private Partnership.

The commencement of services follows the inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Additionally, the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security has approved the airport’s aerodrome security program.

Observers expect Noida International Airport to significantly enhance connectivity in the region. However, further details about operational specifics are still pending.
