Vijay’s rejection of Anbumani Ramadoss‘s demand for a Deputy Chief Minister post for his wife adds tension to the coalition talks in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape. In the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, PMK won 5 seats. The election results represent a significant turning point in the state’s politics. Vijay has requested a 14-day deadline to prove his majority after writing to Governor Rajendra Arlekar to form the government.
