The latest Instagram Story by Akriti Agarwal simply stated, “Misunderstood by many!” This brief message appeared after a screenshot of a previous Story circulated widely on social media. Many users connected the earlier message to Prithvi Shaw, leading to widespread speculation.

The earlier viral screenshot, which is no longer visible on Agarwal’s Instagram account, had stated: “I got cheated so many times, yet I never said a word. Still can’t believe that after taking one step ahead.” It further read: “Everything is true, every rumours is true. What you see on social media about him.” It is important to note that this post did not name Shaw or any other individual directly. The reason for its disappearance, whether deleted by Agarwal or due to Instagram’s 24-hour expiry, remains unconfirmed.

The ambiguous nature of both posts has led to considerable online discussion, with many fans linking the comments to the cricketer. However, there has been no official confirmation that either message was specifically aimed at Shaw. Despite the intense online discussion, neither Agarwal nor Shaw has publicly addressed the rumours surrounding their relationship.

Despite the ongoing online speculation, both Akriti Agarwal and Prithvi Shaw continue to follow each other on Instagram. Neither has removed any photos or posts related to their engagement, which further contributes to the uncertainty surrounding the rumours. The couple announced their engagement in March, when Shaw shared a series of photographs with Agarwal on social media. In April, Shaw also posted pictures of his fiancée, accompanied by the caption, “Us, in our element.” His most recent post concerning Akriti Agarwal was on her birthday in May.
